The EC-DXL series DC reactors are used in DC circuits after rectification. The number of pulses in a
rectifier circuit is always limited, and tidal wave interference often occurs in the output rectified
voltage, which requires a smoothing machine to suppress. All converter stations in direct current
transmission are equipped with smoothing reactors to make the output direct current approach the
ideal direct current. In DC-powered thyristor electrical drives, smoothing reactors are also
indispensable. The DC reactor is connected between the DC rectification link and the inverter link
of the frequency converter, which can make the inverter link operate more stably and improve the
power factor of the frequency converter.
The EC-DXL series DC reactors are precisely crafted from imported cold-rolled sand steel sheets.
They are mainly used to enhance the input power factor, reduce input high-order harmonics,
and minimize external conducted and radiated interference.
